I have a problem with my body image

A lot of people will have points in their life where they worry about how they look.  But for some this worry takes over a large part of their life.  They focus on perceived flaws in the way they look which are often not noticeable to anyone else.  This worry can take over and lead to compulsive behaviour such as skin picking or constantly checking their appearance in mirrors.

We live in a culture where appearance is highly valued.  If you feel that you do not fit in with this ideal, you may struggle to feel content in your own body.

If this sounds like something that is an issue for you then please get in touch as therapy can help you cope with this issue.
